Catalog Frames Layout

Catalog Pages created in Frames.  We have 2 options for our Catalog Frames Layout.  Each is created to simply your customers viewing of your Catalog of products.  This is the newest and current new way to set-up Ecommerce Catalogs.  Gives your ecommerce site a real professional touch and keeps the navigation of your Catalog of products simplified and easier to view by your customer.  We will attempt to simplify the explanation and description of frames layout.  However, viewing the Sample Layouts will greatly diminish any confusion lost in the explanations below.  We do not recommend that Index or Homepages  the main entry area of your website to be created in a Frames Layout.

Option 1 has a total of 4 web pages created to create a 3 frames Catalog Index.  There is a Top Frame which is where your Logo will be installed.  This frame is constant.  A Frame on the Left which is the Navigation Area for the Catalog and a Main Contents Frame where the products will be viewed.  A Catalog Category web page will be created for each of your Categories and a web page will be created for each of your products.

Crafter's Market Place Option 1 Membership Packages:

Your Frames Layout Web Page creations is slightly different from our Web Design Packages.  Catalog Frames Layout Option 1 is the frames layout in which your Catalog of products will be created which is included in your Membership Package.  You will get the following for your Crafter's Market Place Membership:

• 3 Frames

  • 1 Web Page to hold the 3 Frames

  • 1 Web Page for the Top Frame

  • 1 Web Page for the Left Frame

  • 1 Web Page for the Main Contents Frame

• Catalog Web Page creations for Products

  • 1 Web Page for each Product Listing Navigation

  • 1 Web Page for each Product

Option 2 has a total of 5 web pages created to create a 4 frames Catalog Index.  There is a Top Frame which is where your Logo will be installed.  This frame is constant.  A Frame on the Left which is the Navigation Area for the Catalog, a Main Contents Frame which is where the products will be viewed, a Middle Right Frame which holds the links to the rest of your catalog links, which is also a constant frame and a Bottom Frame which has navigational links to the rest of your web site.  This is a constant frame.

Note: Logo for Frames Layout cannot exceed the height of 60 pixels which is approx. 7/8  inches.  A logo creation which exceeds this height will greatly reduce the main contents page which is where your products will be viewed.
